Chris Elder - City & Country Farmers' Markets (CCFM)
Chris' background is in food development, and his passion for local produce led him to set up CCFM, which held its first farmers' market in Dulwich, South London, in 2001. Since then the company has expanded to include 10 different farmers' markets in London.
The idea of CCFM is to offer a practical, regular and cost-effective alternative to supermarket shopping, including locally sourced store cupboard basics as well as luxury local produce.
On 18th September, CCFM will be holding a market in Swaffham, and there are plans to hold regular farmers' markets in South West Norfolk.
